  CUSTER
  
  Andrew Martin "Bud" Custer, 84, of Friedens, died Jan. 23, 1983, at Windber
  Hospital.  Born March 3, 1898, in Somerset County, son of Wilson and Annie
  (Lohr) Custer.  Preceded in death by parents, daughter Betty, three
  brothers and one sister.  Survived by widow, the former Irene Surber; and
  these daughters; Mrs. Marian Sellers, Tallmadge, Ohio; Mrs. Peggy Stokes,
  Bradenton, Florida; Mrs. James (Joy) Beam, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two
  grandsons and four great grandchildren.  Brother of: Mrs. Beulah Meyers,
  Stoystown RD 3; Mrs. Daryl McKenna, Somerset; and Mrs. Vivian McVicker,
  Stoystown.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner
  Funeral Home in Stoystown were services will be conducted at 1 p.m.
  Wednesday with the Rev. Clayton H. Gehman.  If friends desire, instead of
  flowers, contributions may be given to Hospice-Palliative Care Unit at
  Windber Hospital.
