"Billie" Custer, 90, of Somerset, formerly of Shanksville, died Sept. 7, 2001, at the home of her daughter Shirley. Born Feb. 16, 1911 in Johnstown, daughter of Fred and Mary Ann (Dishong) Naugle. Preceded in death by parents, husband Kenneth, son Charles David, an infant daughter, 7 sisters and 2 brothers. Survived by these children, Maryanne, married to Kenneth Lowry, West Palm Beach, Fla., Shirley Stull, Somerset, and Donald R. "Red," Central City; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; also a sister, Ivy Hern, Scottsdale, Ariz. Member of Shanksville United Methodist Church and Shanksville Silver and Gold Senior Citizens. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Ronald Emery, Rev. Chauncey Ickes and Rev.
