  Delbert E. Custer, 89, Fairhope, died Feb. 19, 2006, at Meadow View Nursing
  Center. Born June 18, 1916, in Fairhope, a son of Harvey and Annie (Smith)
  Custer. Preceded in death by parents, five brothers and three sisters. Survived
  by several nieces and nephews. Delbert enjoyed cooking and gardening. Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Ralph Landis
  officiating. Interment at Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
