  CUSTER
  
  Dennis Lee Custer, 45, of North Bend, Ore., died Jan. 15, 1993.  Born Nov.
  17, 1947, in Somerset.  Son of Paul Richard Sr. and Dorothy Mae (Engle)
  Custer of Stoystown RD 3.  Survived by his parents; wife, the former Leslie
  Diane Whalen, whom he married on Aug. 9, 1986, in Winchester Bay, Ore., and
  these children: Charles Custer of Coos Bay, Ore.; Roxi and Johana Custer,
  both of Arlington, Texas, and Michael Etter of North Bend.  Brother of
  Richard Custer Jr. of Lock Haven; Rodger, Barry and Douglas Custer, all of
  Stoystown RD 3; also two grandchildren, Jason Custer and Keigan Smith.  He
  was a sergeant with the Coos County Sheriff's Department, where he had
  worked for 17 years.  He was a veteran of the Air Force and a member of the
  Sheriffs Association and the Teamsters Union.  A memorial service will be
  held at Trinity UCC in Roxbury at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with Pastor Robert L.
  Hoffman officiating.
