  Edna M. Custer, 75, Berlin, died Jan. 19, 1989, at home.  Born Oct. 10,
  1913, in Berlin, daughter of Irvin I. and Lucy (Fisher) Engleka.  Preceded
  in death by parents, granddaughter Joyce, six brothers and two sisters. 
  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth C.; sons: Donald O.,
  married to the former Nancy LaBute, Berlin; Thomas E., married to the
  former Anna Quiroz, Springfield, Va.; grandchildren: Mrs. Kenneth (Jane)
  Countryman, Garrett RD 1; Jill, Berlin, Michael, Springfield, Va.; Marcie,
  Fulton, Md.; great-grandson Alex Countryman and sister, Mabel Thorpe,
  Vandalia, Ohio.  Friends received 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, BERLIN, where service is 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Ralph Mills
  officiating.  Interment Berlin IOOF Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may
  be made to the American Cancer Society.
