  CUSTER
  
  Ethel Catherine Custer, 89, of Somerset, died Dec. 15, 1988 at her
  residence.  Born Nov. 16, 1899 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late John
  S. and Effie (Lohr) Weamer.  Also preceded in death by her husband, Paul; a
  daughter, Geraldine Lange; a son, Clyde; one granddaughter; a
  great-grandson; four brothers and one sister.  Survived by a granddaughter,
  Mrs. James (Susan) Kroner of Mount Lebanon; great-grandchildren Kimberly,
  April and Jodi Pierce, and Scott and Michael Kroner; daughter-in-law, Mrs.
  Clyde (Helen) Custer of Somerset and a sister, Ida Louise Kaster of Warren,
  Mich.  Was proprietor of the Custer Motel since 1950.  Member of United
  Church of Christ of Stoystown and Daughters of the American Revolution. 
  Graveside services and interment will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the
  Stoystown IOOF Cemetery with Rev. Karyl Leslie officiating.  Arrangements
  are under the direction of the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.
