  CUSTER
  
  Mrs. Grace R. Custer, 79, of Kantner, died March 10, 1977, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born May 13, 1897, in Kearney, Pa., a daughter of
  Samuel G. and GeorgeAnna Cartwright Gogley.  Preceded in death by parents;
  husband, Orville L.; son, Ned J.; three brothers and four sisters: Elva,
  James, Leona, Ella, Jacob, Ethel and Frank.  Survived by the following
  children; Roy C., married to former Mary Croyle of Kantner; Robert E.,
  married to farmer Joan Fish, Morrisville, Pa.; Mrs. Lewis (Doris) Smith,
  Stoystown; James L., married to former, Patricia Sarver, Friedens; 13
  grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Retired postmaster of Kanter,
  she and her husband, formerly owned Custer's store and tavern in Kantner. 
  Family received friends Thursday evening and will receive friends 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Friday at Charles R. Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service
  will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday Rev. J. R. Peterson officiating assisted
  by Rev. Donald Berkey.  Interment, Oddfellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
