  Harris G. Custer, 49, Kantner, died Nov. 18, 1998, at home.  Born July 16,
  1949, in Somerset, son of Pearson W. and Lucille J. (Boyer) Custer. 
  Preceded in death by parents, brother Wayne, and sister Eleanor Maust. 
  Survived by daughter, Tracy Farone of Columbus, Ohio.  Brother of Melvin of
  Friedens; Mrs. Glenden (Sharon) Will, and Jay, both of Boswell; Lloyd,
  married to the former Brenda Bumbarger, of Sipesville; Faye Blough of
  Stoystown; and Mrs. Dennis (Sally) Redman, Pasadena, Md.  Former service
  manager for Culligan Water Conditioning of Friedens.  Vietnam Army
  veteran.  Member of Kantner United Methodist Church and Robert P. Hire Post
  257, American Legion, Stoystown.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be
  held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Jason McQueen.  Interment, Odd Fellows
  Cemetery, Stoystown.  Memorial contributions may be given to Kantner U.M.
  Church.
