  RAYMAN-CUSTER
  
  Helen Evelyn Rayman-Custer, 85, of Somerset died Jan. 21, 1998, at Patriot
  Manor, Somerset.  Born Aug. 27, 1912, in Milford Township.  She was the
  daughter of the late Archibald Franklin and Bertha Rebecca (Barkley)
  Walker.  Also preceded in death by first husband, Walter J. Rayman, who died
  Feb. 17, 1957, and second husband, Clyde P. Custer, who died May 4, 1972;
  brothers: Dalton Blaine, Robert and Clark Walker and sister, Mary Sweitzer.
  Survived by sister, Mrs. Ruth Hillegas, Somerset, and numerous nieces and
  nephews.  A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Nurses Club of Somerset,
  American Legion Post 181 Auxiliary and Business & Professional Women of
  Somerset.  Was BPW Woman of the Year in 1987.  A 1930 graduate of Somerset
  High School and 1935 graduate of Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital School
  of Nursing.  Retired registered nurse for Drs. Harold Musser Sr. and Harold
  Musser Jr.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Saturday, Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice 651
  S. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
