  JAMES CUSTER
  
    James William Custer, 56, died May 30, 1995, at his home in Deland, Fla.
    Born Jan. 31, 1939, Custer was the son of William Lewis and Phyllis
  Raupach Custer of Rockwood.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Worthington Custer of Davy,
  W.Va.
    He is survived by five sisters: Patricia Waldren and Barbara Wahl, both
  of Texas; Margie St. George and Sharon Faruggia, both of Arizona; Suzanne
  Friend of Maryland; and a brother, David Custer of Pennsylvania.
    He is also survived by two daughters: Cheryl Jones of Virginia and
  Rebecca Broadwater of Maryland; and two sons, Kenneth W. Custer of
  Pennsylvania and William A. Custer of West Virginia.
    He is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Kristin, Jonathon, W. Scott,
  Chivon, Shanna, Ashley, Amanda, Charlene, Sean, Jordon, Jessica, James and
  Kenneth.
    Mr. Custer was a member of the Moose, Eagles, VFW and, American Legion
  organizations.  He served in the U.S. Army and the Marine Corps.
    Graveside memorial services were held Sunday, June 11, at Rockwood
  Cemetery.
