  MELDA MARIE CUSTER
  
    Melda Marie Custer, 77, 728 South Street, Berlin, died July 17, 1980, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    She was born Oct. 27, 1902 in Brothersvalley Township, and was a daughter
  of the late Robert and Susan (Brant) Pritts.  She was also preceded in death
  by one son, Robert.
    She is survived by her husband, Charles F. and these children: Roy,
  Rochester, N.Y.; Mrs. Ferne Christner, Dover, Del.; Mrs. Betty Thomas, Port
  Deposit, Md.; Paul, Berlin; Dale, Berlin RD 1; Donald, Lonaconing, Md.; Mrs.
  John (Alma) Kurtz, Lucas, Ohio; Lynn, Berlin; 25 grandchildren; and 21
  great-grandchildren.  Also one brother, Jay Pritts, Berlin; and one sister,
  Mrs. Leora Miller, Somerset.
    She was a member of the Brothersvalley Church of the Brethren,
  Brotherton, and Women's Fellowship of the Church.
    Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where
  services were held with the Rev. Owen Preston and the Rev. James Hall
  officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
