  Patty M. Custer, 65, of Berlin died March 21, 2001, at her residence.  Born
  July 20, 1935 in Brothersvalley Township.  Daughter of Charles and Alda
  (Schroyer) Zerfoss and step-mother Nellie (Schroyer.)  Preceded in death by
  parents and step-mother, sisters Flora Zerfoss, Anna Yoder and brother
  Robert Zerfoss.  Survived by husband of 31 years, Paul W. Custer, and
  children: Glenn Beal married to the former Melissa Haun, Brookville; Kathy
  married to Chuck Ramsdale, Ohio; Susan married to Brad Myers, Franklin;
  Frank Beal, Cleveland, Ohio; Tammy married to George Peters, Berlin;
  Tabatha Collins, Mossy Head, Fla., and Paul Custer Jr., Berlin.  Also 18
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Sister of Clyde Zerfoss,
  Stoystown; Betty married to Clark Hager of East Liverpool, Ohio; Mary
  Garland, Hagerstown, Md.; Charles Jr. of Bellaire, Ohio; William married to
  JoAnn, Berlin; Nancy Rubright, Berlin; Clarence married to Rita,
  Jennerstown; Sally Krepelka, Ohio; Susan, married to Robert Snyder, Berlin,
  and Jerry Zerfoss, Berlin.  Attended the Full Gospel Bible Church,
  Meyersdale.  Former cook for various restaurants in the area.  Family will
  receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m., the time of service Friday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Berlin, Rev. Dwight Yinkey officiating.  Interment, Mt.  Zion
  Cemetery.  At the request of Patty, there will be no viewing.
