  CUSTER
  
  Robert L. Custer, 54, of Somerset died Feb. 21, 1979, at his residence. 
  Born Oct. 10, 1924, in Stoystown, a son of the late George E. and Freda
  (Lohr) Custer.  Preceded in death by, sister, Ruth.  Survived by widow, the
  former Lois Jacobs; and these children: Mrs. Warren (Denise) Myers of New
  Brighton, Minn.; Craig of Somerset; David, at home; and two grandsons:
  Justin and Jeremy Myers.  Brother of: Mrs. Helen Sabin of Glendale, Calif.;
  Miss Mary Jane Custer of Tequesta, Fla.; and James of Somerset.  He was a
  member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and choir; Somerset Lodge 358, F&AM;
  Harrisburg Consistory; Jaffa Shrine; Somerset Volunteer Fire Company; Civil
  Defense; and a number of civic organizations; veteran of WW II.  He was also
  a realtor in Somerset for the past 32 years.  Memorial services will be held
  at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. H. James
  Meyers officiating.  There will be no viewing.  Interment will be at the
  convenience of the family in the Somerset County Memorial Park under the
  direction of the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to favorite charity or Trinity Lutheran Church.
