  Vivian Margretta Custer, 69, Somerset, died Sept. 29, 2003 at her
  residence.  Born Feb. 3, 1934 in Rockwood a daughter of Wearing Leonard and
  Mary Loretta (Burkett) Schrock.  Preceded in death by parents and niece
  Cindy Seeley.  Survived by husband James F. Custer to whom she was married
  48 years; children, Mrs. Mark (Amy M.) Smith of LaVerne, Calif., Thomas L.
  Custer of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren, Adam Jason Smith and Lauren
  Nicole Smith.  Sister of: William I. Schrock and wife Carolyn of Somerset,
  Mrs. James E. (Virginia) Eicher of Clinton, Ohio, Leonard W. Schrock and
  wife Lois of Barberton, Ohio, Donald J. Schrock and wife Lillian of
  Callimont; and a number of nieces and nephews.  Member of Trinity Lutheran
  Church and it's Martin Luther Circle.  A 1951 graduate of Rockwood High
  School and attended UPJ.  Member of Somerset Welfare League, past president
  of Venture Club, past president of Somerset Hospital Jr. Auxiliary.  A
  Realtor with her husband at the James Custer Real Estate Agency.  No
  visitation or viewing.  Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday
  at Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset with the Rev. Susan H. Yatta, pastor,
  officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contribution may be
  made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Avenue, Somerset, Pa.
