  CUSTER
  
  Walter P. Custer, 88, of Somerset RD 1, died July 15, 1973, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born July 14, 1885, in Somerset Township a son of the
  late Christopher and Mary (Kline) Custer.  Preceded in death by his wife,
  the former Mary A. Ryan, and one brother.  Survived by these children:
  Walter R. and Kenneth K., both of Somerset RD 1 and Kathleen, wife
  of Albert F. Bethel, El Centro, Calif.; 8 grandchildren and 12
  great-grandchildren.  He was a retired employe of Somerset Door &
  Column Company and Heiple Supply Company.  Friends received after 2
  p.m. Monday (today) at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Paul
  White officiating.  Interment, St. John's Cemetery.
