Born Nov. 1, 1894 in Krokow, Poland. Survived by his wife, Della Trella Cyga and these children: Charles of Watchung. N.J.; Joseph of Jennerstown; John of Belleville, N.J.; Wanda, wife of Gus Hedstrom of Newark, N.J.; Chester of Quecreek; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one brother Stanley of Krokow, Poland. He was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta; UMWA, and was a retired employee of the Saxman Coal and Coke Co. Friends are being received at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where rosary will be recited Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass Friday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta with the Rev. J. Joseph Strittmatter officiating.
