 The Somerset herald. (Somerset, Pa.), March 31, 1880
Mrs. Phoebe Ann Davis, wife of Wm. Davis, departed this life on Monday, the 22nd
inst. On the following day her remains were deposited in their last resting place at
the Kinger church. Rev. Taylor preached an able and a very appropriate funeral
discourse on the occasion, to a very large congregation... Mrs. Davis was highly
respected in the community in which she lived. Her age was 27 years, 9 months and 19
days. She leaves a sorrowing husband and five little children to mourn the loss of
their mamma...
