Indiana Evening Gazette, Wednesday, May 7, 1980
Milward I. Dias, of Windber, formerly of Heshbon, died Tuesday, May 6, 1980, at
Windber Hospital. A son of John C. and Harriet (Evertt) Dias, he was born Dec.
31,1894, in Heshbon. Mr. Dias was a veteran of World War I and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy Lichtenfels Dias; one daughter Mrs. Yvonne (Alex)
Mihalko; one granddaughter, both of Windber; one sister, Jean Johnson, Ridgway.
Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Kenneth
A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday
with the Rev. Edward L. Carl officiating. Interment will be in the Germany Lutheran
Cemetery.
