  DABBS
  
  James L. Dabbs, 72, of Somerset RD 2 died May 1, 1983, at Johnstown
  Memorial Hospital.  Born June 8, 1910, in Johnstown, son of James and
  Esther (Sanker) Dabbs.  Preceded in death by wife, Anna Mary McMullen; his
  parents and these brothers: Paul, Francis, George and John; and these
  sisters: Mable Lindstrom and Annamell.  Survived by these children: James
  L. married to Vicki Davis, Forestville, Md.; Thomas R., married to Carol
  Lancaster, Elizabethtown; Donald G., married to Andrea Milovec, Cairnbrook;
  and Janis L., Somerset RD 2, with whom he resided; six grandchildren. 
  Brother of: Thomas J., Windber, and Katherine Evans, Harrisburg.  Friends
  will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Meek Funeral Home, Inc.,
  Windber, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday.  Interment,
  Forest Lawn Cemetery.
