Daberko, 83, of 215 Lincoln Avenue, Connellsville, died Oct. 9, 1975, in West Virginia University Medical Center, Morgantown. Born April 29, 1892, in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late August and Anna Daberko. He retired in 1962 from the B & O Railroad as a telegraph operator at Green Junction. He had been employed by the railroad for 52 years, and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Telegraphers. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donald A. (Betty) Henderson of Connellsville; three sons, Eugene M. of Springdale; Robert M., Ashtabula, Ohio; and J. Ronald Goshen, N.Y., also six grandchildren, eight great-grand-children and a sister Miss Frieda Daberko of Meyersdale. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ida Mae Nicklow, June 4, 1973; a brother, Richard and a sister, Miss Mary Daberko. Funeral service was held in Connellsville Saturday, Oct. 11.
