  DAILEY
  
  Alan D. Dailey, 68, of 518 Roy Ave., Dayton, Ohio, formerly of Boswell,
  died March 11, 1972, at home.  Born on Nov. 4, 1903, in Clay County, Ill., a
  son of the late Samuel M. and Lena (Davis) Dailey.  Preceded in death by his
  wife, the former Ruth Yates who died Jan. 4, 1969.  Survived by several
  cousins. He retired in 1971 as a professor at the University of Dayton. 
  [sic] p.m. Wednesday (today) at the Joseph H. Hoffman and Son Funeral Home,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Ralph
  White officiating.  Interment, St. James Cemetery.
