  ROBERT B. DARBY
  
    Robert B. Darby, 64, of Stahlstown RD 1, formerly of Connellsville, died 
  Tuesday evening, March 6, 1979, at the Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Julia 
  (Shepley) Darby.
    He was a retired electrician from the Anchor Hocking Company, Connellsville; 
  attended the United Methodist Church; member of VFW Post 21 at Connellsville; 
  member of South Connellsville Firemen's Club; GBBA 139.
    He is survived by wife, Ethel (Shaulis) Darby; two daughters:  Mrs. Larry 
  (Catherine) Blough of Rockwood and Mrs. Robert (Carol) Koontz of Connellsville; 
  13 grandchildren; six brothers:  William of Lawrenceburg, Ind.; Frank, of 
  Farmdale, Ind.; Dwayne and Richard, both of Huston, Texas; John of 
  Connellsville; and Culmer of Sarasota, Fla.
    He was preceded in death by daughter, Mrs. Connie Homer; and three 
  grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home, 418 N. Pittsburgh St., 
  Connellsville, where funeral services were held with the Rev. Melvin Trout 
  officiating.  Interment, Greenridge Memorial Park.
