Born Jan. 2, 1921, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Carmelo and Filomena (Scocchera) DiLoreto. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Peter Emery Sr.; grandson, Benjie Bonitz; brother, Alfred; and sister, Gloria Jean. Survived by daughter, Linda, wife of Benjamin Bonitz, Windber, and their children, Denise Bonitz and Susan, married to John Fuschino, and their daughter, Nicole, all of Windber; son, Dr. P. Emery, married to the former Sharon Hollern, Murrysville; and their children, Erica, married to Lucus Catton, Canton, Ga., Jamie D'Arcangelo and fiancˇ, Aaron Jamison, Ocean City, N.J., and Jacob, Jillian, and Michael D'Arcangelo; and son Robert, married to the former Sharon Clark, Windber, and children Justin, Stephanie and Joseph. Also survived by her sister, Rose DiPoala, and her late husband, Bud; and brothers, Nick and wife, Elsie, Anthony and wife Joann, and Charles and wife Rosemary. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Nicolette and Pete were the original owners and operators of D'Arcangelo's Market since 1948 and D'Arc's Pizza since 1960. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She will be missed greatly by all. Member of Windber VFW Auxillary, ISDA and St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. TOR Franciscans. Interment church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Regional Hospice at Windber, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, PA 15963, in memory of Nicolette.
