    Anna C. Darr, 76, W. Main Street, Somerset, passed away Jan. 7, 1996, at 
  Somerset Hospital after a brief illness.  Born Jan. 29, 1919, in Listie, 
  daughter of the late Edmund F. and Carrie Ellen (Metzgar) Custer.  Preceded in 
  death by parents; brothers, Lloyd and William Custer; stepbrother, Harold 
  Custer, and sister, Alverta Krone.  Survived by husband of 50 years, Robert C. 
  Darr; 2 daughters:  Mrs. Ronald O. (Vickie) Hillegass, Manns Choice, and Mrs. 
  Eugene (Deanna) Kennedy, Berlin; grandchildren, Matthew and Paul Bonchi, and 
  Robert and Denise Kennedy.  Sister of Mrs. Edna Morrow, Apollo; Victoria, wife 
  of Glenn Custer, Somerset; Emily, wife of John Koontz, Stoystown; Mary Louise, 
  wife of Donald Landis, Shanksville; and sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Mostoller, 
  Bedford; Ruth Custer, Transfer, Pa., and Lucille Custer, Friedens.  Member of 
  St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, the Mary Women's Circle of the Church.  A 50-
  year faithful choir member, assistant church treasurer for a number of years.  
  Partner of Darr Electric in Somerset.  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. 
  Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home.  Funeral 
  service at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Rev. Keith Fink 
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  At the request of the 
  family, memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.
