  FRANK C. DARR SR.
  
    Frank C. Darr Sr., 89, of Meyersdale RD 4, died July 25, 1974, at his 
  residence.  Born in Jefferson Township, March 23, 1885, he was a son of Daniel 
  and Emma (Friedline) Darr.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former 
  Ellen Howard, and three sons.
    Surviving are three children:  Mrs. Hilda Glessner, Somerset RD 5; Frank C. 
  Jr., Boswell RD 2; and Clark E. Darr, Meyersdale RD 4; also 16 grandchildren and 
  24 great-grandchildren.
    He was a member of Mt. Laurel Church of Christ.
    Funeral service was held Sunday afternoon in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, 
  with Rev. Fred Seese officiating.  Interment in Edie Cemetery.
