    Goldie M. Darr, 78, Confluence, formerly of Gray, died Oct. 1, 1994 at 
  Somerset Hospital.  Born June 21, 1916, in Somerset County, daughter of the late 
  Allen and Annie (Fisher) Queer.  Preceded in death by two infant daughters and 
  sisters and brothers:  Emily and Stella, and Prestley, Earl and Hubert.  
  Survived by husband, Galen R. Darr; two daughters, Linda L. Menser, Mentor, 
  Ohio, and Virginia A. Knisely, Rockwood; 4 grandchildren and 2 great-
  grandchildren; one sister, Mary Darr, Joliet, Ill.  Member of Somerset Church of 
  God.  Death ends a marriage union of 48 years.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and 
  7 to 9 p.m. Monday (today) in Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service 
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Mr. Royden E. Airesman officiating.  
  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
