    Helen Margaret (Schrock) Darr, 71, of Boswell RD 2, died Jan. 2, 1997 at her 
  residence.  Born Feb. 14, 1925 in Somerset, daughter of the late Albert Hilton 
  and Sallie (Landis) Schrock.  Preceded in death by parents, sister, Louise Yost 
  and brother, John.  Survived by husband, Frank C. Darr, Jr. with whom she would 
  have celebrated their 54th year of marriage on Jan. 7.  Also survived by these 
  children:  Mrs. Carol (Richard) Salley of Hyasota; Barry L. Darr married to the 
  former Barbara Lynne Wiester of Somerset RD 3; Mrs. Peggy (Dwight) Gardner of 
  Boswell RD 2; and Shelley Darr married to the former Metta Mostoller of Boswell 
  RD 2; grandchildren:  Joel Salley, N.J.; Richele Gennett, Windber; Brad Darr, W. 
  Va.; Bobbi Darr, Lewistown; Lyle, Todd, and Drew Gardner, Boswell, and Amanda 
  Darr, Boswell; great-grandchildren:  Nichole and Jamie Gennett, Kayla Darr, and 
  Drake Gardner.  Brothers:  Harold L. Schrock, Sarasota, Fla. and Charles 
  Schrock, Berlin.  Sisters:  Louella Rininger, Somerset, and Eva Mae McKenzie, 
  Pittsburgh.  Member of Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ and life member of New 
  Centerville Ladies Auxiliary.  Friends will be received 2:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday 
  at Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset.  Service will be held 1:30 p.m. 
  Sunday at Mt. Laurel United Church of Christ, Gray with Rev. Joseph Beer 
  officiating.  Interment, Beams Cemetery, Gray.  Body will lie in state in church 
  one hour before service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. 
  Laurel United Church of Christ Building Fund, RD 2 Boswell, Pa. 15531.
