  Homer G. Darr, 70, Boswell RD 1, died Jan. 25, 1985, at Memorial Hospital.  Born 
  July 10, 1914, in Bedford County, son of Howard and Cydney (McDonald) Darr.  
  Preceded in death by parents; infant sisters, Fern and Pauline; sister, Ruth 
  Pyle; and brother, Michael.  Survived by widow, former Mary Ginger; daughter, 
  Linda, wife of Larry Ream, Lincolnton, N.C.; and one grandson, Jason.  Brother 
  of Ritten, Friedens RD 1; Grace Hummel, Somerset RD 5; Harry, Strongstown RD 1; 
  the Rev. Shimer, Washington, Pa.; and Dorothy Pluta, Boswell.  Member of Jenner 
  Rod and Gun Club; USW, No. 1288, Johnstown Local; retired in 1975 from Johnstown 
  Works, U.S. Steel; navy veteran of World War II.  Friends received from 2 to 4 
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where 
  service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. Jesse E. Wolf officiating.  
  Interment, Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
