  DARR
  
  Howard Darr, 55, of Kaysville, Utah, died July 5 in St. Benedict's Hospital.  
  Born Dec. 24, 1918, in Somerset, a son of Frank Darr Sr. of Meyersdale RD 4 and 
  the late Ellen Howard Darr.  Survived by his widow, Ruth Barnes Darr; sons, 
  Howard Jr., who is serving in the U.S. Air Force in Germany.  William Scott and 
  Jay Franklin, both at home; brothers Frank C. of Boswell; Clark of Meyersdale 
  and a sister, Mrs. J. Rei (Hilda) Glessner of Somerset.  Preceded in death by a 
  son, Stanton and a half-brother Earl Bisel.  He was a member of Kaysville Fire 
  Department for 25 years and served as secretary for 13 years.  He was a retiree 
  from the U.S. Army Air Force.  The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the 
  Kaysville Mortuary.
