Born Sept. 2, 1920, in Boynton, she was a daughter of the late Aden and Grace Holler. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ward Holler, and a sister, Ferne Gnagey. Jean is survived by her husband, George Darr; son Larry and David Darr; daughter-in-law Sherri Darr; grandchildren: Geoff, Matthew and Mark Darr, Cyndi Bannon and Bill Darr, and two great-grandchildren, Gage and Brooke. Jean was a resident of the West Covina community for 47 years. She was a devoted member of the Methodist Church for 47 years. Jean enjoyed china painting. A memorial service was held May 19 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel, Oakdale, Calif. Oakdale Mortuary, Glendora, Calif., directing. The New Republic, July 19, 2001 [D0070]
