  Pauline E. Darr, 75, Somerset, died July 29, 1988, in Somerset Community 
  Hospital.  Born March 3, 1913, in Lincoln Township, daughter of Charles F. and 
  Ella (Smith) Darr.  Also preceded in death by stepmother, Lucy (Shaffer) Darr; 
  sisters:  Erma Smucker, Bessie Gashaw, Mary Walker; and brothers:  Clyde and 
  Fred.  Survived by brother, Edward J., Somerset RD 2; sister, Mrs. Gladys 
  Hoffman, Somerset RD 3.  Member of the Somerset Church of the Brethren.  Retired 
  secretary for Custer Realtors and for the Somerset Thrift Finance Company.  
  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Monday) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral 
  Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Roger 
  Forry officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may 
  be made to the Church of the Brethren Building Fund, Somerset.
