Darrah, 61, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 13, 1988, at Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ohio, of natural causes. He was born August 22, 1926, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. He was a son of Raymond and Lydia (Folk) Darrah, of Salisbury. He had lived in the Portage area all his life. He is survived by his wife Mildred M. (Adelman); stepson Ronald L. Geib, of Ravenna, Ohio; five grandchildren; and sisters Mrs. Charles (Marcene) Davis, of Kent, Ohio; Claudia, and Mary Katherine Stone, both of Ravenna, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his brother, Walter, died Jan. 28, 1968 and a stepson Jeffrey Geib, died Aug. 25, 1969. He was a supervisor for the Ohio Department of Transportation, Division 4, in Ravenna; was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1055 in Ravenna; was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; attended Thomas School and West Salisbury grade school. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and cabinet maker. Wood Funeral Home, Ravenna, Ohio, was in charge of arrangements. Services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Ravenna. Interment, St. Peter of the Fields Cemetery, Rootstown. The Republic, July 28, 1988 [D0083
