CHARLES DARRAH

  Charles Darrah, 44, a native of Meyersdale, died last week in a Detroit 
hospital.  He was born in Meyersdale on October 3, 1897 and resided in this 
community until 1916.
  For a number of years he was employed in Pittsburgh and in 1926 located in 
Detroit, where he was purchasing agent for the city engineering department.
  Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Anna (Kuns) Darrah, and his mother, Mrs. Orrick 
Henry of Meyersdale.  In addition to his mother, the following from Meyersdale 
attended the funeral services: Mrs. Martha Darrah, William Darrah and Miss Edith 
Garlitz.
