  MRS. AUGUSTUS DARRAH
  
    Mrs. Martha M. Darrah, 91, died Oct. 30, 1978 in Berlin.
    Born July 20, 1887 in Sand Patch, she was a daughter of the late James Brooks 
  and Fannie (Albright) Brooks.  Her husband, Augustus Darrah, preceded her in 
  death.
    She was a member of SS. Philip and James Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild and 
  the Meyersdale American Legion Auxiliary.
    Surviving are a son, Dr. Charles A. Darrah, Pittsburgh; three daughters, Mrs. 
  Mary Hartle, Meyersdale; Mrs. Mercedes Lauerman, McKeesport; Mrs. Josephine 
  Beynon, Cumberland, Md.; a brother, James Brooks, Meyersdale; 11 grandchildren 
  and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home where rosary was recited.
    Mass of the Christian Burial was celebrated in SS. Philip and James Catholic 
  Church.  Interment, church cemetery.
