D'Arrigo, 74, of Somerset, died May 30, 1996 in Messina, Sicily. Born Aug. 13, 1921 in Jenners, Pa., the son of the late John and Santa (DiBella) D'Arrigo. Preceded in death by daughter, Anna Maria; and infant brother. Survived by wife of 39 years, the former Pietrina Totaro; son, John; married to Kimberly, of Tucson, Ariz.; and daughter, Mrs. Brian (Rosita) Volkert of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. Brother of Dominick and Carmel D'Arrigo, both of Somerset. Life member of Somerset Volunteer Fire Department. Retired employee of PennDOT and a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where a wake service will be conducted at 8:45 p.m., Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Msgr. Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating. Interment Husband Cemetery. Daily American, June 8, 1996 [D0090]
