Born May 15, 1893, in Fumodinessi, Sicily, a daughter of Santo and Natala (Barone) Parisi. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph, in 1943; and by her parents and one sister, Josephine. Survived by four sons: Philip, Gray; Sam, Boswell RD 2; Carmel, Pasedina, Md.; and John, Cannonsburg; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; Brother, Salvatore; and sisters: Giovanni and Maria, all of Italy. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta; and a member of the Sons of Italy, Boswell; American Legion Auxiliary, Boswell; and Laurel Mountain Senior Citizens. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. today (Tuesday) and all day Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Acosta, with the Rev. Benjamin Dykas officiating. Interment, Husband Cemetery. Daily American, January 4, 1983 [D0092]
