    Warren J. Davidhizar, 60, of Lost Valley Drive, Hollsopple RD died 
  unexpectedly July 20, 2000.  Son of Joseph and Kathryn (Blough) Davidhizar.  
  Preceded in death by father and sister Eunice.  Survived by mother and 
  stepfather LaVerne Schneider and wife the former Joyce Hershberger; son Douglas 
  Lynn, and daughter Carla Joy William.  Also survived by several brothers and 
  sisters including Elvin "Skip," Hollsopple RD, mother-and father-in-law Beulah 
  (Eash) and Owen Hershberger, Johnstown RD.  Was an active member of Thomas 
  Mennonite Church, Thomas Mills, Formerly served on the board of the Johnstown 
  Christian School.  Loved singing and was a member of the Thomas Men's Quartet 
  and the Knights of Harmony.  A 1957 graduate of the Conemaugh Township Area 
  Schools, Davidsville and received bachelor's and master's degrees from Penn 
  State University.  Self-employed consulting engineer.  Friends received from 1 
  to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Rout 403 and Church Road, 
  Davidsville, and from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. Sunday at 
  Thomas Mennonite Church.  Interment Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, 
  memorials may be given to the Johnstown Christian School, 125 Christian Road, 
  Hollsopple or the Pavillion Fund at the Thomas Church, 112 Swank Rd., 
  Hollsopple.
