She had been visiting relatives at Grantsville, and became ill soon after her return home about a month ago. A daughter of George W. and Margaret Crowe Miller, she was born at Grantsville and lived in this and the New Germany community until she moved to Akron some twenty years ago. She was twice married. Her first husband was Richard Patton, then of this place, from whom she was divorced. She later married Mr. Davies from whom she was also divorced. Three daughters survive, namely, Mrs. Violet Coughenour and Mrs. Daisy Kelley, both of Akron, born of the first marriage, and Wilma Ann Davies, Akron, born of the second marriage. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: Harry O. Miller, Mrs. Henry F. Durst, and Mrs. Richard Layman, Grantsville; George Miller, LaVale; Howard Miller, McHenry; Mrs. Charles Baum, Berlin, Pa.; Mrs. Joseph Lydinger, Cleveland, O., and Mrs. Jacob Fresh, Akron. Henry F. Durst, Mr. and Mrs. Harry O. Miller, Miss Helen Miller and Mr. and Mrs. George G. Miller went to Akron to attend the funeral services, which were held there Friday afternoon. Mrs. Henry F. Durst went several days ago when she learned of her sister's critical condition. Meyersdale Republican, September 18, 1941
