  MINNIE DAVIES
  
    Minnie R. Davies, 95, formerly of 192 West Main Street, Frostburg, Md., died 
  Jan. 30, 1988 in the Egle Nursing Home, Lonaconing, Md.
    She was born April 7, 1892 at Red Hill, daughter of the late Noah and Honora 
  (Bluebaugh) Twigg.
    She was a member of Welsh Memorial Baptist Church and Calanthe Temple 3, 
  Pythian Sisters.
    Her husband, John Edmund Davies, died in 1949.  She was the last surviving 
  member of her immediate family.
    Survivors include two sons:  John Edmund Davies, Chestnut Ridge Road, 
  Grantsville, Md., and Howard O. Davies, Frostburg, Md.; 16 grandchildren, 33 
  great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received in the Durst Funeral Home where services were conducted 
  Tuesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. William G. Boyer.
    Interment, Frostburg Memorial Park.
