ALVA GLASS DAVIS

  Mrs. Alva Glass Davis, 70, died Wednesday morning at her home after an illness 
of heart trouble.  She was stricken several days ago, prior to that time being 
able to attend to her household duties.
  Her husband, John I. Davis, preceded her in death last November, shortly after 
the couple observed their golden wedding anniversary.  A daughter also preceded 
her in death.
  Surviving are two brothers and two sisters: Delphi Glass of Pittsburgh; 
Milford Glass, Kankakie, Illinois; Mrs. Alice Wright, Uniontown and Mrs. Ethel 
Miller, Connellsville.
  Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the home.  Rev. S. L. Burson, 
Methodist minister had charge of the services.  Interment at the Addison 
Cemetery.
