  DAVIS
  
    Arthur J. Davis, 95, of Berlin and formerly of Summit Mills died Dec. 25 at 
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born Sept. 5, 1898 in Summit Mills.  Son of the late James L. 
  and Annie (Koontz) Davis.  Preceded in death by:  wife Adie V. Gnagey in 1992, a 
  son Lewis J. in 1981, and three sisters, Annie Moser, Mrs. Lilly Peck, and Mrs. 
  Fanny Martz.  Survived by these children:  Emmert L., Orange City, Fla.; Dorothy 
  E. Snyder, Phoenix, Ariz., and Viola M. Suder, Berlin.  Also six grandchildren:  
  Dr. Robert Suder, Berea, Ky.; David A. Suder, Wincester, Va.; Bonnie Lou Hirsh, 
  Geneva, Fla.; Craig Davis, Kathy Rash, and Vickie Egusquiza of Simi, Calif.  
  Also nine great grandchildren.  Life member of the Meyersdale Church of the 
  Brethren.  Self-employed businessman as a miner, farmer and butcher.  In 
  retirement he was a crossing guard for the Berlin Brothersvalley School 
  District.  Memorial Service will be held at a later date in charge of Leckemby 
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale.  Family suggests contributions be made to the Memorial 
  Fund of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren.
