  Mrs. Carrie E. Davis, 89, Siemon Lakeview Manor Nursing Home, Somerset, formerly 
  of 317 Glessner Road, Johnstown, died Nov. 1, 1986, in Somerset.  Born Sept. 26, 
  1897, in Johnstown, daughter of late Joseph and Maggie A. (Sell) Glessner.  
  Preceded in death by husband, Earl T.; four brothers, George, John, Theodore, 
  and William; and five sisters, Elsie Goebert, Sella Murry, Dahlia Snook, Lizzie 
  Murry, and Jennie Berkey.  Survived by several nieces and nephews.  Last 
  surviving member of Glessner family.  Former co-owner of Davis Ford Garage, 
  Franklin Street, Johnstown.  Member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, and 
  life-time member of Ladies Auxiliary of Ideal Volunteer Fire Co.  Friends 
  received 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett 
  Mortuary, Inc., Johnstown, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the 
  Rev. Raymond Jones.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
