  CHARLES DAVIS
  
    Charles M. "Chas" Davis, 78, died November 16, 1993, at Robinson Memorial 
  Hospital, Ohio, after a brief illness.
    He was born in Charleroi, but spent most of his life in Salisbury before 
  moving to Brimfield, Ohio.
    He was a maintenance welder for 36 years for Goodyear Aerospace of Akron.  He 
  was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church of Brimfield.
    He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marcene (Darrah) Davis; two daughters, 
  Nancy Lee Smith of Brimfield and Charlene Detweiler of Streetsboro, Oh.; one 
  son, Chester (Chet) Davis of Brimfield, Oh.; six grandchildren and one great-
  granddaughter.  Also a sister, Esther Heim of Bradenton, Florida.
    Friends were received Nov. 17 at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home, Kent Chapel, 
  where services were held Nov. 18, with Revs. Richard D. Smith and G. Marlene 
  Petterson officiating.  Interment, Restland Cemetery, Brimfield.
