    Clifford L. Davis, 75, Rockwood RD 1, died Oct. 13, 1993, in Somerset 
  Hospital.  Born May 27, 1918, in Somerset County, son of the late Donovan and 
  Mary (Aultz) Davis, preceded in death by parents; brothers:  James, Willard, and 
  infant brother, Jay.  Survived by wife, Irene (Raley) Davis; children, Edward 
  James of Harrisburg and Sue Ann, wife of Jeffery Nicholson of Rockwood; three 
  grandchildren:  Craig Allen, Cassandra Aileen, and Jherrica Linnet Nicholson; 
  sisters:  Anna Mae, Hazel Hannson and Olive Croyle, all of Somerset; brothers:  
  Ray, married to the former Betty Glessner, and George, married to the former 
  Caroline Dickey, both of Somerset; Clyde, married to the former Janet Rininger, 
  of Stoystown; also a number of nieces and nephews.  Veteran of World War II.  
  Retired from Penn-DOT in 1980.  Death terminates marriage union of 31 years.  
  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. (today) Friday in Robert H. Halverson Funeral 
  Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Randall W. 
  Bain.  Interment, Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
