Born May 10, 1926, in Somerset, son of Donovan Isaac and Mary Ellen (Aultz) Davis. Preceded in death by parents; and brothers, Jay, Willard, Clifford, Ray and James Davis. Survived by wife, the former Caroline Louise Dickey, to whom he was married 49 years and these children: Barry E. "Pete" Davis, married to the former Hazel Ryman of Somerset and Mrs. Danny E. (Connie L.) Baker of Hagerstown, Md. Also survived by five grandchildren, Barry E. Davis Jr., Michael Davis, Brian Davis, Shawn and Scott Baker; and two great grandsons, Adam and James Davis. Brother of Miss Anna Mae Davis, Mrs. Olive Joanne Croyle, Mrs. Hazel Hansen and Clyde L. Davis, all of Somerset. Member of First United Methodist Church. Army veteran of World War II. Member of VFW Post 554, Sugar Bush Antique Car Club, Uniontown Local International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Retired with 32 years of service as a truck driver for Quinn Freight Lines. No viewing or visitation. Memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Patricia M. Nelson officiating.
