Davis, 70, of Madison, Ohio, formerly of Somerset, died May 7, 1996, at LakeEast Hospital in Painesville. Born Jan. 28, 1926, in Somerset. Son of the late Frank A. and Carrie (Stern) Davis. Survived by his wife, Betty Lou (Francis), whom he married Jan. 15, 1950, in Somerset; daughter, Barb E. Rubrecht of Dublin, Calif.; son, Jeff G. (Kathy) Davis of Madison; grandson, Douglas G. Rubrecht of Dublin, Calif.; granddaughters: Carrie E. and Lindsey A. Davis, both of Madison, and sisters: Frances (Carmel) D'Arrigo and Kathryn Campbell, both of Somerset. He was a retired mechanic and a lifelong member of Madison VFW. He worked in the Engine Lab of Lubrizol Corp. in Wickliffe, retiring after 31 years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II.
