  MRS. N. ROBERT DAVIS
  
    Mrs. Jane H. Davis, 43, wife of N. Robert Davis, Grantsville, died Saturday, 
  Sept. 10, in Cumberland Memorial Hospital, following a lingering illness.
    Born in Grantsville, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Sarah (Turner) 
  Hummel.
    She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, the Confraternity of 
  Christian Wifes and Mothers, auxiliary to Grantsville fire company, American 
  Legion Auxiliary and Grantsville Cemetery Committee.  She was president of the 
  Casselman Valley Homemakers Club.
    Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Daniel, at home; a daughter, Mrs. 
  Kenneth Sisler, Akron; two brothers, Henry Hummel, Frostburg and Dr. Ralph 
  Hummel, Bremerton, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Allen Fresh, Cumberland, and Mrs. 
  Edward Kernell, Brunswick, Ohio; also two grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
    Requiem mass was celebrated Tuesday morning at St. Stephen's Church by Rev. 
  Fabian Kekich.  Interment was made in Grantsville cemetery.
