  DAVIS
  
    Kenneth George Davis, 49, of Custer died Oct. 16, 2001 in John Randolph 
  Hospital.  Mr. Davis was born in Bedford, a son of the late Edgar and Georgie 
  Slick Davis.  Survivors include his wife, Vera Davis, two sons, Timothy George 
  Davis, Daniel Scott Davis all of Chester, two brothers, Charles Davis of 
  Bedford, and James Davis of Somerset.  He was a computer specialist at the 
  Defense Supply Center of Richmond.  A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on 
  Friday in the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. 
  Hundred Rd., Petersburg, Va. and visitation will follow until 9 p.m.  The 
  interment will be private.  The family suggests that in lieu of flowers 
  contributions be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
