  LEWIS JAMES DAVIS
  
    Lewis James Davis, 52, of Simi, Calif., formerly of Meyersdale, died April 30, 
  1981, in the Seventh Day Adventist Hospital, Simi, Calif.
    He was born May 7, 1929, in Meyersdale, a son of Arthur J. and Addie (Gnagey) 
  Davis.  He is survived by his widow, the former Florence Meyers, two daughters: 
  Vicki and Kathy Rash; and a son, Craig, all of Simi, Calif.; also, one grandson, 
  Danny; a brother, Emmert, married to Dorothy Brick, Brookfield, Ohio; and two 
  sisters: Viola, wife of Wayne Suder of Berlin; and Dorothy, wife of Emerson 
  Snyder, Phoenix, Ariz.
    Friends were received in the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where 
  services were conducted with the Rev. Bobby L. Phillips officiating.  Interment, 
  Union Cemetery.
