Davis, 66, of Somerset, died Dec. 3, 1993, at the Conemaugh hospital, Johnstown. Born Nov. 26, 1927, in Stoystown, daughter of the late Charles Edward and Lena Pearl (Dinning) Metzgar. Also preceded in death by a brother, Robert O. Metzgar. Survived by husband, Donald P. Davis; a daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Donna Lee) Upstill of Greensburg, and three granchildren: Scott, Troy and Kristie Lynn Upstill. Sister of Mrs. Wanda E. Harned of Holiday, Fla.; and Jack M. Metzgar of Stoystown RD 2. She was a teacher's aid for 27 years for IU 08. A 1945 graduate of Stoystown High School. Member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. No viewing or visitation. Funeral service and interment in the Somerset County Memorial Park will be held at the convenience of the family.
